Creative Writing Teacher, Coach, and Author Doris has helped six new authors write their books and get published. She has traveled around the world—7 continents (including Antarctica!) and 58 countries.

She has taught business courses at a university in Viet Nam, creative writing classes in Ecuador and Mexico, and online English as a Foreign Language to students around the world. Doris published “The Boomers’ Guide to Going Abroad” (2011, updated edition in 2019, online only). She is working on a humor-filled memoir reminiscing about her life as a vagabond as well as a novel set in 1840s Argentina.

Her memoir-writing workshops and classes combine learning with fun and provide students with abundant opportunities to start writing their stories through in-class exercises.
