What is the LCS Reservation Service? What does it do?
The LCS Reservation System is a cloud-based software solution that allows LCS members and other customers to browse offerings and purchase tickets for events, trips and classes using a web-based interface.
Why should I use the LCS Reservation System? What’s in it for me?
The Reservation Service provides up to date information. As soon as the LCS offers a class or event it will be posted. Conversely when an event or class has been fully booked or is cancelledit’s latest status is immediately shown.
The LCS Reservation Service provides easy access. No need to travel to the LCS Services desk. You can access the site anywhere you have internet service. You can use desktop/laptop computers, tablets and smartphones
LCS Membership discounts are automatically applied to purchases where applicable.
Advance bookings can be made. No need to wait till you’re back at Lakeside to book a class or event. Some classes and events are listed for booking months in advance.
How does Reservation System benefit the LCS?
The LCS Reservation Service is a major step in advancing the LCS’s goal of continually improving customer service.
Having one central system that manages all reservations and purchases greatly improves accuracy and speed thus saving precious staff and volunteer time.
The Service enhances the experience of many of our volunteers. They are relieved of much mundane effort. Staff and volunteers take additional satisfaction from providing up to date, first class services to their customers.
Do I need to be a LCS member to use the service?
No, anyone can purchase services online. However discounts and some class and event offerings are available only to those with current memberships.
Does the Reservation System track the availability of seats for classes, trips and events?
Yes, our system offers real-time tracking of the number of seats sold versus the total number available. allowing you to have an accurate view of the number of seats still available.
Does the LCS Reservation System support customer loyalty programs?
Not at the moment, but the Reservation Service will allow the LCS to recognize and reward loyal members and customers in the future.

All items are priced in Mexican pesos.
How secure is the LCS POS System? Is my payment information protected?
The LCS takes security seriously. Our online Reservation System employs industry-standard security measures, including encryption and secure data transmission protocols, to ensure that your data are protected.
How are payments processed on the Reservation System?
Our Reservation Service provides a secure payment processing system (Stripe) that allows buyers to make purchases using credit cards and debit cards. Stripe is used widely throughout North America by many retail customers.
What payment methods are supported on the Reservation System?
Our platform supports major credit cards and debit cards. Buyers can choose their preferred payment method during the checkout process.
Those wishing to use cash will be required to make purchases at the LCS Service Desk on the LCS main campus on 16th de Septiembre, Ajijic.
Will the Reservation Service keep my credit/debit card information?
Yes, our system offers real-time tracking of the number of seats sold versus the total number available. allowing you to have an accurate view of the number of seats still available.
What will a customer get as a purchase receipt for each type of item purchase?
A printable receipt will be emailed for each purchase. The receipt contains a “QR” code that can be scanned to retrieve the purchase details.
How are membership discounts on events and classes handled?
The LCS Reservation Service automatically recognizes current memberships and applies the membership price at checkout.
What happens if a class or event is canceled by the LCS? How do I get a refund?
If a class, event or bus trip is canceled for any reason you will be notified by email to either reschedule or receive a refund depending on the method of payment.
