Paul Basset

Paul Bassett is a software engineer, author, and entrepreneur, having co-founded two successful software-engineering companies.

In the 1970s Paul taught computer science at York University. His research in artificial intelligence led him to invent an award-winning technology that is still used around the world to automate software manufacturing.

He’s the author of peer-reviewed papers, book chapters, and a book on software engineering. As one of IEEE’s Distinguished Visitors, he’s given many keynote addresses.

Now retired, Paul still writes and speaks avidly about the impacts of emerging technologies.
