Spanish in Action 3B 2026

In this course you will learn how to give and follow orders. How are you at cooking? Would you like to follow a Mexican recipe in Spanish? Or maybe tell your pets “Siéntate" (sit). This level is for you - join us and let's talk about your favorite hobbies!

This program lasts for 20 sessions, twice a week, two hours a day with a 10 minute break between hours.

Level 3B

Grammatical Structures.

•   Pretérito vs. Imperfecto tenses

•   Review of the present indicative.

•   Imperative mood. “Usted” (Formal You). In the affirmative and negative forms.

•   Imperative mood. “Ustedes” (Plural You). In the affirmative and negative forms.

•   Direct and indirect object pronouns together with the Imperative Mood.

•   Imperative Mood. “Tú” ( informal You). In the affirmative form.

•   Imperative Mood. “Tú” ( informal You). in the negative form.

Vocabulary

•   La oficina. (The office.)

•   "Se" for accidents or unplanned actions.

•   La casa. (The house.) Part 2

•   Pasatiempos. (Hobbies.)

Dialogues.

•   En la oficina. (At the office.)

•   Me levanté con el pie izquierdo. (I got up on the wrong foot.)

•   La casa. (The house.)

•   Los recién casados. (The newlyweds.)

•   Los pasatiempos. (The hobbies.)

Readings.

•   Pictographic reading.

•   Los pasatiempos te harán más listo. (Hobbies will make you smarter.)
