All of us share some of the characteristics of those on the Spectrum. We also share some of the superpowers of Neurodiversity. As we age these can morph into cognitive rigidity and ultimately anxiety, depression and OFS. Strategies will be presented to improve our emotional and sensory well-being.
About the Presenter: Michael Mcmanmon
Dr. Michael McManmon, a member of the US Autism Association Advisory Board, founded the College Internship Program (CIP) in 1984. He has a unique perspective as he was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome and grew up in a family with many individuals on the spectrum.
Dr. McManmon has published four books. He is licensed as a psychologist and has lived in Mexico for eight years. He is an avid artist, writer, swimmer, gardener and traveler.
