Short Story Workshop

In this four week workshop, participants will discover the unparalleled work of some of the best Latin American short story writers and learn about the context, theory and technique behind their masterpieces through the Latin American Short Story Workshop; where you will learn and exercise the tools for your own narrative work. Learn with this adventure and become a better writer. Short story workshop based on stories written by Latin American authors. The duration of the workshop season is divided into four blocks of four to five sessions each, and the sessions deal with the following topics: · History: study of several periods, movements, and styles in the history of Latin American literature. · Life and work: information about the life of some fundamental writers and analysis of their work through the reading of a short story. · Literary resources: techniques and resources of creative writing. · Aspects of grammar: general knowledge of the structures in the Spanish language applied to creative writing and its equivalents in English.
