Join Alicia Knox and Greg Kemp for an intimate journey through the chapters of your life. Our Guided Autobiography four session class provides a structured framework to explore, document, and share your most meaningful experiences and memories. Through carefully selected themes and prompts, you'll excavate forgotten moments, recognize patterns, and discover new perspectives on your life's journey. In a supportive small-group setting, you'll gain confidence in your writing voice while learning techniques to bring your stories vividly to life. Each session combines guided writing exercises, storytelling principles, and thoughtful sharing. As professional storytellers and documentarians, we provide personalized feedback to help shape your narratives into compelling legacies for future generations. Whether preserving family history, seeking personal insight, or simply enjoying the art of reflection, this class offers the perfect blend of instruction and discovery. No writing experience necessary—just bring your memories and willingness to explore.

Alicia Knox and Greg Kemp bring complementary storytelling expertise to their guided autobiography classes. Alicia discovered storytelling's power as a non-profit leader before becoming a photographer, now serving as both a digital storytelling facilitator with Common Language Digital Storytelling and a certified Guided Autobiography Instructor through the Birren Center. Greg, co-founder of Project Somos and a lifelong storytelling enthusiast, brings his experience as a non-profit leader and certified Guided Autobiography instructor to their collaborative work.
