Join us for a fun workshop to create beautiful and colorful aluminum hearts in the traditional Mexican style and learn about their cultural significance in México. Using aluminum sheets and embossing tools, you will learn how to shape, cut and paint your personalized designs to decorate your house (mirrors will also be available to decorate). Connect with others through creativity in this three day workshop, all materials included (aluminum, tools, paint and a take-home kit) - 3 Day Class June 18, 19 and 20 from 11 to 1:00 pm

Erika Morales is a multidisciplinary artist and has been a creative workshop teacher since 2022, with workshops in botanical printing, cyanotype printing, aluminum embossing, clothes up cycling and acrylic painting. The Mexican Hearts workshop has been brought to different places in Jalisco: Jocotepec, Ciudad Guzmán, San Antonio Tlayacapan and now Ajijic, with over 50 students creating aluminum hearts.
