About the Instructor- Gareth Collingwood
A self-taught bilingual speaker of Spanish and English and has taught both languages across the Americas and in Europe for the last three decades. He holds a master's degree in linguistics from the University of British Columbia and a combined honors degree in Liguistics and Spanish/Latin American studies from the University of Alberta. Before living in Mexico, he was a university language professor in Canada. In addition to his academic career, Gareth has travelled by bicycle through every country in Latin America and written extensively on this subject. He now lives in Ajijic with his family.
