Spanish in Action 3A 2026

Did you know that in Spanish there are two ways of talking about the past? Find out how and when to use one or the other. Do you like animals? what is your favorite animal? what sports do you play? Let's talk about it in this class.

This program lasts for 20 sessions, twice a week, two hours a day with a 10 minute break between hours.

Level 3A

Grammatical Structures.

•  Preterite tense.

•  Imperfect tense of regular and irregular verbs.

•  Uses of the imperfect tense.

•  Uses of the preterite tense.

•  Preterite vs. Imperfect.

•  Direct and indirect object pronouns in the same sentence.

•  Impersonal “Se".

•  Weather.

•  Animals.

•  Trades and professions. 

•  Sports.

Dialogues.

•  ¿Qué te parece el clima? (What do you think of the weather?)

•  El reporte del clima. (The weather report)

•  En el zoológico. (At the zoo)

•  Profesiones y oficios. Professions)

•  Conversación en el celular. (Conversation on the cell phone)

•  ¿Qué deporte van a practicar los niños? (What sport are the children going to practice?)

•  Mi deporte favorito. (My favorite sport)

Readings:

Un producto importante. (An important product.)

En el aeropuerto. (At the airport.)

Los diez zoológicos más importantes del mundo. The ten largest zoos in the world.

¿En qué trabaja mi familia? (What does my family do for a living?)

El juego de pelota. (The ball game.)
