The Lake Chapala Society invites you to spend a festive afternoon with Ajijic Chic, the clothing line of local designer Catherine Stephenson. Catherine brings 35 years of couture dressmaking from Portland, Oregon, where she created bridal gowns, evening wear and tailored clothing by hand, taught couture sewing and draping at the Art Institute of Portland, and helped found the national Association of Sewing & Design Professionals.
When she settled in Ajijic, Catherine turned that craftsmanship toward something new: easy-fitting, brightly colored clothing made for the way we live at Lakeside. Please join us Wednesday, November 18, from 2:30 to 5:30 to see the collection on the runway and shop the pieces afterward. Admission is $400 pesos and includes a complimentary glass of bubbly, with a cash bar available. Purchases are cash only.
