Course Syllabus, Level 3.
The final objectives of course level 3.
At the end of this level the student will be able to communicate events in the past, not only using the past tense to communicate completed and finished actions, but also to express habitual actions and make descriptions of the past in the imperfect tense. Distinguishing the uses of these two past tenses: preterite and imperfect.
Use the imperative mood in: orders, instructions, advertising messages, recommendations and permissions.
Know how to interpret the impersonal use of the particle "se" in advertisements, signs, in impersonal sentences such as: se vive bien en Ajijic.
The student will be able to describe unplanned actions or accidents when using the particle "se" with accidental verbs such as: olvidar, quemar, mojar, romper, ensuciar, etc.
The student will be able to talk about the world around him/her beyond his/her circle of primary or basic needs. The student will be able to function in activities of his or her professional life. The student will be able to talk about sports and hobbies. The student will know some Mexican Spanish expressions.

• Pretérito vs. Imperfecto tenses
• Review of the present indicative.
• Imperative mood. “Usted” (Formal You). In the affirmative and negative forms.
• Imperative mood. “Ustedes” (Plural You). In the affirmative and negative forms.
• Direct and indirect object pronouns together with the Imperative Mood.
• Imperative Mood. “Tú” ( informal You). In the affirmative form.
• Imperative Mood. “Tú” ( informal You). in the negative form.
