Monday and Friday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Come to Mudlarks Pottery at LCS any Monday and Friday and participate in a low-fire, hand-building pottery studio. We have all you need to create beautiful and useful objects in ceramics, from tableware to sculpture. Our studio is located in the Casita on the South Campus, and we look forward to welcoming you. Open Studio operates on a calendar month basis and is under the direction of Jennifer Johnson.
Jennifer founded Mudlarks in cooperation with LCS after moving to Lakeside several years ago when she realized that, despite Mexico’s rich ceramic traditions, there was no local studio where someone could work with a community of creative colleagues to make pots, tiles, or sculptures.
Please Note: Open studio is available only upon completion of the Introduction to Ceramics class
(check with Ceramics Class coordinator for info on being on the waiting list for the Intro Class)
Mudlarks provides ongoing opportunities to hone your skills in a warm and supportive environment.
Studio fee is $700 plus $700 for each bag of clay as needed. The studio fee includes use of tools, glazes, and firing.
The bag of clay is sold separately.
